A Pause Before the Holidays Begin
I’ve been working on something I’m excited to share with you next week! But before we rush into the holidays, I want to invite you to take a pause with me.
Gratitude Looks Different for Everyone
This time of year can bring up lots of mixed emotions.
Joy and grief.
Connection and loneliness.
Celebration and reflection.
Often all at once.
During this week especially, when gratitude is the theme and food, family, friends are the focus, it’s very common for something else to quietly creep in: that feeling of being behind and not where you want to be.
Maybe you thought you’d be further along in your health journey. Maybe you pictured more energy, more strength, more consistency, a body that looked different. Maybe you’re looking at the calendar wondering how the year flew by.
If that’s you, I want you to hear this loud and clear:
You are not behind.
A Gentle Reminder for the Season
This season doesn’t have to be about hustling harder. It also doesn’t have to be about giving up until January. There’s a gentler way to approach the season.
For many of us, what we truly need right now is a pause. A moment to reflect. A moment to acknowledge what’s worked, what hasn’t, and what we want to feel more of in the year ahead.
This practice over the last several years has given me so much grace and perspective as I end one year and prepare for the next.
Gratitude isn’t just about being thankful for what we have, it’s about slowing down long enough to notice what matters. And that alone can shift your entire direction.
Something Special Coming Next Week
If you’re craving clearer energy, more intention, or even just a sense of reset heading into the new year… but you’re not sure where to start, stay tuned.
My Year-End Reflection Guide, “Reflect, Release & Reclaim” comes out on December 1. Think of it as a gift to yourself: a simple, grounding way to reconnect with what you want, how you want to feel, and what truly matters for your next chapter.
More on that next week. For now, I hope you find small moments of gratitude this week—real, meaningful ones that bring you back to yourself and make you realize what this life has brought you.
Wishing you a warm, peaceful and fulfilling holiday.
