Welcome, I’m Michelle! I’m a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach and Functional Medicine Certified Health & Nutrition Coach who loves to cook and eat well, live fully, move frequently, and spend time with the people I care about.
We all have a story of how we got to where we are today. Let me share mine with you...
I believe our health is deeply connected to how we live, how we care for ourselves, and how we move through the seasons that change us.
And like most people, I didn’t arrive here in a straight line.
I was living what I thought was a pretty good life. I had a husband and family who loved and supported me, a solid group of friends I could depend on, and a successful career in New York City.
Then something tragically unexpected happened.
I woke up one Saturday morning—the day after my 43rd birthday and the day before my 11th wedding anniversary—to the sounds of my husband taking his last breaths.
The thing no one ever imagines will happen to them happened to me.
It was a gut punch that shook my world to its core. But over time, it also awakened something in me. That loss forced me to dig deeper than I ever had before and taught me things about myself I may never have learned otherwise.
Nearly two years later, I left my career of almost 20 years and planned to take time away to explore what came next. Then the pandemic hit.
What began as uncertainty became an unexpected opening.
For the first time in a long time, I had space to ask myself what actually mattered, what kind of life I wanted to build, and how I wanted to feel in my body and my days.
That season led me deeper into health, nutrition, movement, mindfulness, functional medicine, and the connection between how we care for ourselves and how we move through life.
I discovered that feeling well wasn’t about chasing perfection or following someone else’s rules. It was about learning how to support my body, listen to myself, and rebuild trust in my own ability to keep going.
That path eventually became LasWell Health.
Today, I help women build sustainable habits around food, movement, stress, sleep, and mindset so they can feel stronger, steadier, and more at home in themselves—especially in seasons of change.
Because at some point, many of us reach a moment where what used to work no longer works. Our bodies shift. Our priorities change. Life asks something new of us. And we realize we need a different kind of support.
You don’t have to wait for a wake-up call to begin caring for yourself differently.
And you don’t have to figure it all out alone.
My work is here to help you reconnect with your body, rebuild your foundation, and begin trusting yourself again, one small, sustainable step at a time.
