What Are You Ready to Let Go Of?
Sometimes we get stuck in old patterns.
Doing things the same way we’ve always done them.
Because it feels safe, comfortable, familiar.
But comfort doesn’t always equal progress.
And staying the same doesn’t always lead us to what we desire in life, and that could refer to anything:
a new career path
losing weight
a stronger body
following your passion
more energy, peace or purpose
To move forward and grow, you sometimes have to let go of what’s holding you back—even if it once served you.
Letting Go Isn’t Weakness—It’s Strength
We often think of release as quitting. But in reality, it’s one of the boldest, most self-honoring choices you can make.
Releasing can look like:
Letting go of a routine that doesn’t work for you anymore
Shedding outdated beliefs about your body, your worth or identity
Dropping perfection and choosing consistency
Releasing guilt around rest or setting boundaries
Saying goodbye to a relationship or habit that drains you
Letting go is an act of trust - in yourself, timing, the universe, and what’s possible if you just release that grip just a bit.
This Season, I’m Letting Go Of…
I’m opting to release:
The pressure to do everything “right” or “perfectly”
The need to be productive every moment of the day
The outdated idea that I need to prove myself to anyone
This week I’m taking an early birthday trip with my husband to revel in awe and wonder, and enjoy more fresh air and nature.
I’m choosing:
stillness > noise
ease > control
compassion > criticism
presence > pressure
Weekly Reflection Prompt:
What are you ready to release right now—physically, mentally or emotionally?
What would it feel like to let go of that one thing that’s no longer serving you?
