Here we are again. Two more months until the end of the year and I know what some of you may be thinking. Holidays are coming up. I didn’t hit all the goals I’d wanted to. I may as well wait until January to get on track.

This narrative is so easy to follow. I remember subscribing to it myself over and over again.

Post Halloween, all the talk and preparation for the upcoming holidays take over. More gatherings and get-togethers, more treats readily available at every turn, colder weather calling for cozier food. It makes total sense.

What You Do NOW Shapes How You Start the Year

BUT, what you do in the next 8 weeks sets the stage for a strong, sustainable start to the new year. You don’t need to overhaul everything—you need to stabilize your foundation.

And this still leaves room for the gatherings, the treats, the little indulgences and joys that go along with this time of year.

I actually have more clients sign up in the fall because they want to step in a new year with a head start on their health and longevity goals, and starting from scratch January 1st always seems much more overwhelming.
